Stokes & Associates, Inc. is a comprehensive civil and environmental consultant engineering firm.  Our Company has been serving Texas municipalities, governmental entities and private industry for the past 50 years. Our office is located at 205 South Marshall Street in Henderson, Rusk County, Texas. The Firm’s resources and capabilities allow us to service a customer base of clientele spanning across the State of Texas. The Company’s Firm registration is F-967 and our surveying registration is 10194292.

Stokes & Associates’ experience has produced a seasoned group of design professionals who can work closely with staff through many facets of project development including conceptual design, project estimating, report preparation, coordination and intercession with regulatory authorities, preliminary schematics, flow diagrams, hydraulic profiles, pilot testing, preliminary and final design, preparation of contract documents and technical specifications, complete project management services, interim or full time project inspection and project start-up and contract closeout.

While our Company provides a broad scope of engineering services, we specialize in design of water resource projects that include large scale raw and treated water pipelines, raw and treated water pump stations, reclaimed water pump stations, raw water intake structures, and surface water treatment plants.

Our experienced staff is well versed in both design/bid and design/build construction and have successfully completed water resource projects totaling over $50 million dollars in recent years.

The Company’s design team consists of 12 design professionals and includes licensed professional  engineers, graduate engineers, and registered professional land surveyors. The Firm regularly employs sub-consultant expertise to include an environmental site assessment team (ESA) for projects including Phase 1 and Phase II ESA’s, Archeological and Cultural Resource studies, Wetland’s Investigations and Delineation, and Wetlands Mitigation.   

 

Other professional sub-consultants include: Geotechnical, Structural, Electrical, Architectural, and Mechanical services. Our staff takes great pride in providing engineered projects that are on time, incorporate common sense design and are within budget.

With over 50 years of experience, the Firm has successfully completed numerous projects financed with State and Federal Funds and include Texas Water Development Board, Texas Department of Agriculture, Texas Department of Housing and Urban Development, Texas Community Development  Block Grant Program, Texas Capital Fund, Texas Department of Rural Affairs, Texas General Land  Office, and Municipal Bonds and Certificates of Obligation.
